About: Potter's Parlour

Built in the 1860's, this charming building has lived many lives. It was operated as a Bed & Breakfast by Nina and Stanley Brown between 1960-1985. In 1995, Ian and Daphne Scott bought the building when they moved Village Pottery next door and rented it weekly to tourists as "Potter's House". In 2017, their daughter Suzanne took over the family business and decided to give it a new life as Potter's Parlour. Hurray!

Suzanne Scott is the owner of Potter’s Parlour as well as the sister shop Village Pottery next door. She’s an Airbnb host and children’s picture book author. Her 1st book “Beach Day on the Island” is available at the parlour now!
